Hi everyone! We recently participated in and photographed the Suburban Swim League (SSL) 2009 Swimming Championships. Our oldest daughters (Mikaila and Maggie) participated in the event, so I filled multiple roles of lead photographer, business owner, question answerer and cheering dad. It was a busy 2 days, but there was fun to be had by all who participated. There are 10 teams in the league and 970 swimmers participated in the event.
Below are the draft designs for last names starting with “A” and going through “Jan”. They are in alphabetical order, mostly, so look for and click on your child to see the design larger. You can also view/purchase individual images of your child <HERE>. (HINT: each swimmer is listed as a “team”, so use the “team” dropdown box to find who you’re looking for… Enjoy!) I’m working on names “Hos” thru “Z” now and will be updating the gallery of designs and the above link to veiw the original images.
Well, we gave her a good (although very short) upbringing and now it’s time for her to leave our home and go find her own place in this world. NO… Not one of my three girls! A portrait of the Lou Gehrig Red baseball team from New York.
We met at the GLBL Memorial Day Tournament in Mentor, Ohio and the team chose to purchase one of our hottest new products… the team pano (short for panorama). When I brought the finished product in to show my girls, they stopped playing Webkinz on the computer and shouted out “cool” and “awwwhhhhhhsome” and “who’s is that?”. It’s a good feeling to see that someone else likes it as much as I do.

Well, she’s a 16″x36″ beauty, who will find a new home in New York. The only thing I can say to her in parting is “I’ll miss you baby. Go make me proud!”

That’s a lot of numbers, but that’s what it took to capture action images at the GLBL Memorial Day Tournament this past weekend. At the event, we saw some old friends and customers and met some new ones too. In an earlier post, we showed you some of our action pictures, so this time I thought I would show you some images of baseball from another viewpoint of the game… let’s call it a more artistic one. It’s there all the time, but we may rarely notice it. I hope you enjoy our tribute to “America’s pasttime” below… cheers!

Lastly, here are a few collages we put together. Remember, if you would like our professional staff (myself included) to provide photography services for your team/league or to attend your event, please let us know and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you. Enjoy these last two images!
Take care until next time, Tim

This past weekend (Friday, Saturday AND Sunday to be exact) we were at the GLBL Early-Bird Qualifier baseball tournament in Richmond Heights and Painesville. 37 teams scheduled for multiple games at multiple locations over 3 days. After the rain cancelled a few games and sent a few teams “packing”, baseball got back underway mid-way through Saturday.
Below are a few images of “America’s Favorite Pasttime”, our booth and some other things that caught our eye… oh yeah… and the mud!
(This wasn’t the way I was planning on breaking in a new pair of tennis shoes, but the show must go on!)

2-finger fastball?
“The Tools of the Trade”… I love how the light was highlighting all the different colors and designs on these bats in the dugout!

Here’s a catcher looking over to the dugout
And away it goes!

This guy’s at the ready and looking good in his colorful shades

This is our crew between games hangin’ out at our booth and refueling for the next hour of games. A special thanks go out to Cari, Jennifer, Stacey (my lovely wife), Jessica, Kristin and Tim (sorry Tim, ladies first)!
At the ready…
Eyeing up the ball just before contact…

Here’s an example of a custom-designed 8×10 collage that we are offering for this tournament… looks good doesn’t it?

Lastly, I leave you with an image of this guy. What is he doing at a baseball tournament you ask? We are asking the same thing. He would fly over the fields very low back-and-forth. He even dropped a little toy army man with a parachute that sailed down and landed right on the field. They had to stop the game and a little boy ran out to get it. I’m sure it was his “prize” for being at the tournament all weekend for his big brother.

Hope you enjoyed it! We’ll talk soon. Tim
